How to use our soaps?

How to care for your bars

Eco Friendly packaging

All our soaps are individually packaged in home compostable, biodegradable, plastic free film. Yes, even the sticker is compostable! Until you need to use your soaps, keep them in the film in a cool, dry place.

Dry them well!

Hot process soaps are generally softer than melt-and-pour, cold process bars, and if they sit around in a puddle of water, they can melt into goo – which is still useable as soap, just not as practical.

So make sure your soap dish has draining wholes, or use one of our Soap Saver net bags to hang the bars to dry.

Soap Savers

A few ways you can use Eva’s Soapery Bars

Hand Soap

Our smaller bars are perfect for every sink – keep one in the kitchen as well! Even with frequent use, they don’t dry the skin and you can be sure your hands are clean and well cared for after every wash.

Body Wash

Our bigger bars are ideal for full body use – rub your bar over wet skin, lather it up, and enjoy the wonderful, natural scents. Just make sure you let them drain well afterwards! Our Clove & Poppyseed and Oat Latte bars also work as gentle exfoliants for dry skin.

Face Cleanser

Our face bar formulas (Grease Buster, Alolive and Nettle & Clary Sage) are perfect for anyone trying to use less plastic in their skincare routine. These bars work wonderful as a second cleanse – gentle and effective. Avoid the eye area and rinse them well!

Travel Soap

Our small cubes are ideal for travelling – the big and small bars use the same formula, so if you have a favourite big bar to use as body wash, keep a small version in your travel bag so you can always have your favourite bar with you.

Guest Soaps

If you have guests staying over, our tiniest bars are ideal for individual guest use. They look wonderfully welcoming in your guest bathroom!

The mini soaps come in packs of 3.
